You kinda have to celebrate the conception of Mary by having lunch out? Don’t you?  I think so?  It might even be a law in Italy?

So, I did!

I found a nice Trattoria fairly near il Duomo.

 

I knew I was in a good restaurant because it was filled with Italians, not tourists.

 

Young people, old people, families, couples, singles, and even a crying baby!

 

All decked out for the holidays with colorful lights.

I had carpaccio della casa and it was nice.  Dessert was great!  Here it is:

Panna cotta with chocolate sauce.  Yum!
