Montalcino is a beautiful medieval village, south of Siena, where the Brunello wine is excellent and the scenery is fairytale gorgeous.

Come for the charm of the town, with its lovely piazze, palazzi, e la gente.  You will get a taste of true Tuscan charm.  There is also a very nice museum, filled with superior paintings and some sculptures.
