I clearly don’t know my animal names, but I love this store window dressing no matter what! And don’t worry, the cat is ceramic.

I love camellias. They are my favorite flower along with peonies, penstemen, roses, lily-of-the-valley, violets, marigolds, lilac, viburnum, geranium, anything vining and specifically wisteria, iris, carnations, pinks….I could go on and on.

But, my all-time favorite is the camellia. Look whats happening in Tuscany this spring!

New this New Year is a great premiering show on BBC4, which fuses biography, art and the history of fashion. Fashion historian Amber Butchart explores the lives of historical figures through the clothes they wore.

Great Florentine throw pillows

A beautiful skirt

Faux painted chest of drawers. I want this!

I stopped by this church today for the first time ever. Inside, the church felt well-used and well-loved. This would be a great church to visit if wanting to understand a service. I wanted to light some candles, but couldn’t find any candles to add to the stand. Maybe it’s a bring-your-own-candle situation?

Today I wandered around the Oltrarno after the hairdresser. Great window-shopping!

I like the teapot chandelier below!

I want this…hat?…fascinator?...chissa!
