In perusing my photos, this random visual association jumped out at me.

Patterns in black and white with flesh tones, sleek mammals, and created in Florence in the 60’s!  Just a few centuries apart, is all!  Florence: always stylish.

Well, who can blame me?  I mean, really, what is not to love?  I’ve binge-watched the entire first series of ITV’s Victoria this week!

 

Victoria is a hit!  Gorgeous sets, incredible costumes, fine acting.

Shot in luminous, almost impressionistic, lighting and color.

 

 

Victoria will be on PBS in 2017.  You won’t want to miss it!  Contact me if you want to know how to watch it online earlier than that.

 

 

 

 

My Rose of Sharon shrub wins my annual garden award for “most photogenic!”  I mean: look at this baby!

 

 

 

I even love the color of the dying blossoms!  Gorgeous blue.  Has dying ever looked so beautiful?

We are expecting the first frost this week.  This spells the end of my summer flowers.  Boo hoo!

 

Hillary Clinton logo typeface

Inspired by the logo for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 Presidential run, designer Rick Wolff created an entire uppercase alphabet for a typeface he’s calling Hillvetica. FYI, Pentagram partner Michael Bierut designed the logo.
