Mamma mia said there’d be days like this!

I’ve had a pretty rough week aside from the heat. Becoming an expatriate is a lot harder than I thought and I am weary and worn.

Part of my dilemma last night was: do I want to let the quiet unmoving still hot air into my apartment with the risk of bats I’ve noticed flying around the treetops?  I opted not and went to bed with no bats and sweltered through the night.  Tonight I think I’ll be inviting the bats in, on the condition they bring some cooler air.

On the plus side, I went to the coffee lab near Via Roma today and had the most perfect cappuchino known to man.  It was a marvel and I should have taken pictures, but there is no picture than can give you a guage of foamy perfection and roasted coffee happiness.  It is such a shame because if there were these things, life would be even fuller.

Maybe if the weather turns my way I can get back up on the horse. Lord knows there are many equestrian monuments throughout Torino, so I can have my choice of steeds but then I’ll probably get arrested.

Like maybe I could climb up on this one? IMG_3718

IMG_3719 I think I could get up there. Can you see it now?  Ha ha!

And then, I get a daily dose of shit from my landlord about how much internet I use. is just the start.

Just keepin it real people.  Life isn’t a cabaret alle questo momento.
