The Appennine Colossus by Giambologna

Seven miles north of Florence resides a giant Renaissance treasure known as il Colosso dell’Appennino. It is a 35 foot tall sculpture found in Villa Demidoff, created by the 16th century Italian sculptor: Giambologna.
