The city of Florence is extending the tram system in my neighborhood and in the diggings they recently accidentally discovered the skeleton of a young girl that is said to be more than 2000 years old!

Amazing how our bones can last so long.
But I wonder why her bones survived intact and not someone else’s. Who was she. How did she come to buried in this spot? I walk beside this space everyday. What else is under my feet? The questions go on and on, Michael!
