My nasturtium plants, grown from seed last year, have survived the Tuscan winter in situ in my terrazzo! And today one of the bloomed! In March! Che bello!

Che colore! That color!

We had a garden full, and all died with the first frost. Glorious flowers.
I was amazed that some of mine survived the winter and this one went on to bloom in the unruly March weather we have! Luckily nasturtiums are tough little plants and grow rather quickly from seed! Happy primavera, Michael!
Be sure to contain them, they took over our garden.
Oh, mine are contained! I live in the center of a stone city with only a terrace for gardening!
