On a recent gorgeous afternoon, before my accident, I happened to be in Piazza Santa Maria Novells and the sky was so blue, the sun so warm but not hot like summer, I stopped to enjoy the experience of just being in this lovely space. While there I couldn’t help but notice this darling little bambina and capturing her interest in one of the only patches of green grass in the city. Children and green grass on a warm day: gorgeous! I just wish she could have gotten on it.
