A golden autumn afternoon in Florence
This is the season I like the best and Florence glories in the autumn sunshine. Here are some views to show my point!
Zeffirelli Foundation, Florence
Franco Zeffirelli was a golden son of Florence, who left an astonishing artistic legacy behind, in film, tv, opera and more.
His foundation is housed in a beautiful palazzo on Piazza San Firenze in Florence and I recently had the opportunity to enjoy the collections on a gorgeous September afternoon. The exhibits did not disappoint.

Below are some of the pictures I took of various things on view that caught my eye. If you love Zeffirelli, you will not want to miss this place.
To hell and back
The Zeffirelli museum in Florence currently has a large gallery devoted to an impressively immersive experience of Dante’s journey to hell.
Giant violin on the Venetian canals
Ballet is back!
The Empire State Building, as you’ve never known it
The current green heart of Florence
The Arc De Triomphe is all wrapped up, but just for a couple of weeks!
Nectar of raspberries
Only in Italy!? I’ve never seen it anywhere else! Delicious!
